Chapter: 1 It was a fine day, but I do not know that things are going to be different. when I come home from my school on Friday, LYRA sees that grandma comes home with some old man nearly 40-45. LYRA was 17 years old does not have a boyfriend and do not like to socialize, grandma was not her original grandma but her stepmother mother lives in the village but really come home, when grandma see Lyra she called her "come here child meet him your future husband" LYRA was shocked but she can not say anything because her stepmother gave her hint that does not mess up things. Her father was only thought about the money he never cares about her, sometimes she hates her life wish to die but she does not want to regret always thought that things are going better but things are getting worst.
Grandma called her and said sit down, she was scared dose not want to look up and see the man but she feels that man was staring her like a wolf wants to eat her she feels disgusted. the man says "I like her should we fix the date " she was shocked .they do not ask her opinion her eyes are wet but see dose not let her tear come out. MIA was her little sister (stepmother daughter) come down from stairs to see the face Lyra and curve her lips say grandma give Lyra and brother in law to private time to know each other. yes, we should, Lyra go out and have fun. Lyra does not want to go out but she forced herself. they go in a restaurant he asks her to sit and called Waite he asks Lyra what do you want to eat Lyra said orange juice waiter note down then leave, the man said to Lyra I am going washroom she nodded but man does not go to the washroom but go to waiter and said something in his ear and give him money. then he came back Lyra was set in a chair looking at the table but does not want to look up. the waiter came back and gives them drinks, Lyra does not want to drink but wants to escape, but she does not eat anything from the morning so she starts drinking the juice, the man sees her, and his lips curve. man ask her a few questions and ask her to see the movie Lyra want to refuse but she said ok see come out from the restaurant but she feel dizziness and the hot man held her hand and said "do you want to cool down" she was scared.
